Reunião de Conselho de 18 de julho de 2008
As reuniões de consellho é quando os líderes de zona se reunem com o Presidente e sua esposa para receber instruções. Os missionários adoram apesar que algumas duplas viajam até 12 horas para estarem aqui. Se reunimos a cada 6 semanas. As reuniões são na casa da missão e duram a manhã toda e uma parte da tarde. Os missionários que viajam de longe chegam no dia anterior a noite e dormem na casa do staff. Eles chegam as 8 da manhã animados e perfumados para receber instruções.
Nesta nossa primeira reunião falamos sobre muitas coisas, inclusive sobre as novas regras sobre jogar futebol no P-day e ouvir musicas (do coral do Tabernáculo e da igreja) que todos queriam saber. Com o Presidente anterior eles não eram permitidos a fazer nenhuma destas coisas.
Também falamos sobre o Propósito do Missionário, sobre saúde do missionário e divisões com os assistentes e outras coisinhas mais.
Eles adoraram o almoço da Ira. Lenita e sorvete de sobremessa!! Saíram felizes para o campo novamente levando nosso amor para suas respectivas zonas e cheios de entusiasmo para fazer a obra do Senhor.
The Zone Leader Counsel is when the zone liders meet with the President and his wife to receive instruction. They love it, even though some have to travel 12 hours to get here. We have this meeting every 6 weeks. It is held in the mission home and last the whole morning and part of the evening. The missionary travel from far away and arrive the day before and sleep in the Staff's house.
They arrive 8 in the morning, excited and fresh to receive instructions.
In this first meeting we spoke about many things, including the new mission rules concerning new rules about playing soccer on their P-Day and listening to music (mormon tabernacle choir and church hymns) With their past president they couldn't do any of these things.
We also talked about the Missionary Purpose, about their health and the divisions they will do with the assistents amongst other details.
They loved the meal prepared by Sis. Lenita and the ice cream dessert!!! They left hapily to the field along with our love to their zones with new enthusiasm to do the Lords work.
